Plot Synopsis
Every time Oliver pushes a red button on the one-minute time machine, he gets another try for what he did for the past minute. On a normal Sunday at the park, Oliver met this beautiful girl that he wanted to have a conversation with. He took his one-minute time machine with him and approached the girl. He sat down on the bench where the girl was sitting and put the one-minute time machine on his lap. Oliver started greeting this girl then the girl replied, 'Are you going to use your time machine on me?'. He thought it was a rough start so he wanted to try again but this time, hiding the time machine. So, he pressed the red button and time reversed. He greeted the girl, keeping the time machine behind his back. the girl greeted back. Oliver then introduced himself and asked the girl her name but the girl doesn't seem interested. Then, Oliver thought to himself that he needs to impress her so Oliver pressed the red button and reversed time. This time he asked if she wants to go for coffee then the girl seems interested. The girl said yes so then she stood up but then a book from her lap fell out. Oliver found a opportunity to impress her even more so he picked up the book and asked, ' So you like science?'. The girl then replied, ' Science? Science is for when I was in elementary. I am a doctorate in quantum theory.' Oliver then quickly realises that he made a wrong move, he pressed the red button. This time he asked, 'So you are into quantum theory and principles?' *reading the title of the book he memorised the minute before he pressed the one-minute time machine*. The girl was impressed thinking this guy has the same interest. She then asked, 'Which was your favourite chapter?'. He answered, 'Time travel!' and she replied 'Me too! It's amazing but its the scariest thing in the world.'. Oliver then said, 'Yeah! Wait what?!'. The girl said, 'Didn't you read the chapter 7 on time travelling application?'. Oliver said, 'Well actually I did not have time to read that, been busy practising actual time travel.'. The girl then was shocked and asked if he was practising it now. Oliver replied yes then the girl asked, 'For me? That's really touching because nobody has ever died for me.'. Oliver was confused so he quickly said, 'Well no, I'm still here physically.'. The girl then replied 'Not you exactly but you know, like you read it in the chapter that said time travel is impossible.'. Oliver kept denying and saying it's possible and that he had done it several times. The girl then said, 'No, every time you push the time machine button, you created a copy of yourself that exist a minute before you pressed the button in another world which means your original copy dies.'. Then the scene shows him dead in the previous scene after he pressed the time machine while the girl was asking for help and screaming. There are 3 scenes that shows Oliver on the floor dropped dead because he pressed the button 3 times so which means he died 3 times.
